"What a pleasure it was having you visit our school!" the reading specialist at Preston School wrote to Lisa after a recent author day. "We simply can't thank you enough for your lively and informative presentation to our students. Following your visit, I received many comments from fellow teachers who were very impressed with the content of your presentation and your ability to engage students in discussion. Having scheduled many author visits at our school, I was impressed with your unique ability to modify your presentation to appeal to our wide range of students, grades K-8. I would heartily recommend you to any school who might be interested in an author appearance."

With over a dozen years of teaching experience, Lisa Rowe Fraustino has eveloped both a rapport with audiences of all ages and a repertoire of talks and workshops suited to their interests, abilities, and needs. During the school year Lisa teaches English to fifth graders at Wyoming Seminary, an independent school in Forty Fort, Pennsylvania. Summers she often teaches in graduate programs such as those at Hollins University and Western Maryland College, offering courses in creative writing, children's literature, and the teaching of both.

Lisa is available to speak at schools, libraries, conferences, and other gatherings of readers and writers. She is also available for writer-in-residencies and visiting professorships. Her Ph.D. credentials from Binghamton University are available upon request.
