SCBWI EASTERN PA NEWS FLASH: Elizabeth Swartz Named Co-RA

SCBWI named Elizabeth Swartz, Milton, PA as the new Co-RA in Eastern PA.
Elizabeth Swartz has taken part in SCBWIEPA for several years while completing 28 years in public education as a classroom teacher and then elementary librarian. She has taught at Marywood University, written for various educational publishers such as ELP, Words & Numbers, and Texas Instruments. For eleven years, she was a columnist for Teaching K-8 and the editor of the Green Pages section of that magazine. She has served on the advisory board of TIME for Kids and is currently studying writing at Vermont College of Fine Arts. She and her husband live on the farm in central PA where they raised their two children and love entertaining three small grandchildren whenever they get the chance. She is excited to be getting more involved with the SCBWI chapter that has done so much for the growth and inspiration of her writing life.

Elizabeth serves alongside the current CO-RA, Marilyn Hershey.
